Job description
The Hilton DFW Lakes has an immediate opening for an Executive Meetings Manager.
The Executive Meetings Manager books, details, communicates, and oversees the necessary requirements for all small meetings. Serves as liaison between the Conference Center and the group contact.
Implement all program details including meeting requirements, accommodations, food & beverage functions, audio-visual requirements, transportation, recreation and entertainment.
Organize all information into a written format (“Group Brief”) for internal distribution.
Knowledge of menu planning, and the ability to “guide” a group towards meals most conducive to the size of their group and the space allotted.
Clear, concise and timely communication with all hotel departments.
Build detailed Banquet Event Orders, and other internal documents.
Distribute group briefs and other paperwork to departments on a timely basis.
Reviews all group bills for accuracy and communicates any necessary changes to accounts receivables manager.
Primary Requirements and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Delphi knowledge.
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
This position requires a minimum of one year prior experience in conference planning or Express sales in a conference center or full service hotel of similar size and volume. Salary commensurate with experience.
