Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center

The Hilton DFW Lakes has an opening for a Conference Planning Manager. The Conference Planning Manager serves as a liaison between the hotel and the client once a sales manager has completed the contract. This includes serving as the client’s initial contact planning their event, and executing their event through their departure.

The Conference Planning Manager is responsible for managing the groups stay (pre-arrival through post-departure and ensures that all departments are aware of the requirements including the meeting room, guestroom, food & beverage, transportation and all additional ancillary requirements of the group. The Conference planning manager is responsible for creating banquet event orders and group briefs for distribution to all managers.

While managing the groups stay, Conference Planning Managers are responsible for maximizing hotel revenues through up-selling hotel amenities, cut-off date enforcement, calculating attrition per contract, and enhancing food & beverage revenue through selling in-house venues.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Conference Planning Manager in a full service hotel.
Must be familiar with Delphi, diagraming software, Microsoft programs
Must have knowledge of food and beverage, menu planning, meeting room logistics and meeting room set-ups.

Salary commensurate with experience.
