Wage and Hour Division (WHD)
Compliance Assistance Toolkits
The Wage and Hour Division (WHD) of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is committed to helping employers understand and comply with federal wage and hour laws.
WHD offers a wide variety of materials to help employers understand their rights and responsibilities under the law, including a series of interactive step-by-step tools to walk employers through a variety of scenarios, in-depth guides to help employers navigate the requirements of the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and fact sheets that detail how the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) applies to many specific types of employment. We also provide free guidance from knowledgeable professionals, workplace posters and forms, and informational materials employers can share with their workers.
Our compliance assistance toolkits answer the most frequent questions about federal labor standards, and include posters that meet federal labor law notice requirements. Below is a link for the following Toolkits: Basic Compliance Assistance, Agriculture, FLSA, Government Contracts, FMLA and Youth Employment.
