In an effort to help our employees who have been laid off during this time, you can help the Hotel Association of Tarrant County in a food drive that benefits hotel employees.

We are asking that you print out the flyer below and place it on a nice box in your place of business.

Once the box is full we will arrange a pick up and have the non-perishable items brought back to HATC where our volunteers will sort and bag the items.  It’s our hope to have fruit and meat donated from our Association’s food distributors and then the idea is for each family to drive by and pick up a grocery bag that has a complete meal for families in need.

It’s our hope to collect items from June 20th – July 10th and then sort them for distribution here at our headquarters.

We then ask you to let your laid off employees know about the meal that is available to them.  All they will then have to do is drive up to the Sheraton Fort Worth located 1700 Commerce Street on Friday July 17th between 10am – Noon and pick up their family meal bag.  Once they drive up we will ask them which hotel they are associated with,  hand them the bag through the car window and wish them well.

Hopefully we will have everyone back working in our hotels soon but in the meantime this is a great way to keep morale going and help a family in need.
