Lobby to Leadership is a program designed to help high school students discover the incredible range of careers available within the hotel and tourism industry.
Throughout the day, students will interact with hospitality professionals, explore different hotel departments and career pathways, hear firsthand career stories, and learn how the skills they are developing today can lead to exciting opportunities for advancement.
We need hoteliers who love what they do.
On September 17 & 18 at The Renaissance Worthington, HATC’s Lobby to Leadership program will bring high school students together to explore what a career in hospitality can look like. And we need you to help show them why this industry is worth choosing. We’re looking for hoteliers who are willing to:
Share your story. Talk with students about what you do, how you got into hospitality, and what you love about it.
Showcase your opportunities. Have a table at our career fair and introduce students to the many jobs and career paths available at your hotel or company.
Help students interview with confidence. Share your advice on interviewing, making a great first impression, and landing that first opportunity in hospitality.
You don’t have to give an entire day. If you’re willing to give some time and share your passion for this industry, you can make a difference in how the next generation sees hospitality.
The program is from 10:00am – 2:00pm each day.
Prices include both days but if you can only make it one day, no problem. We’re just asking a small contribution fee to help us offset the cost of the event.
