Hyatt Place Fort Worth Historic Stockyards seeks a Front Office Manager with a proven history of strong leadership skills and focused on creating exceptional experiences for each of our guests.  The Front Office Manager is responsible for all duties of the front desk and gallery operations which include:  staff training, inter-department communications, staff scheduling and guest services.  The Front Office Manager should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate excellent leadership abilities within a fast paced environment.

This position will be required to work evenings and weekends and must have a flexible schedule based on the needs of the hotel and their team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Actively maintain all inventory supplies for Front Office and Gallery operations
  • Monitor guest room inventory and manage discrepancies
  • Passion for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay
  • Ensure high standards in customer service including reservations, guest check-in and check-out process, and billing procedures
  • Coach employees to perform to all Hyatt Service Standards and Procedures
  • Perform all tasks of a Gallery Host as needed to facilitate service
  • Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures
  • Maintain excellent communication between Front Office team and all other departments
  • Be knowledgeable of all rates, specials, packages, programs, etc. while ensuring team is trained to execute based on current rate strategies
  • Ensures proper staffing levels designed to achieve specific customer service goals
  • Skillfully manage the Gallery Hosts by creating an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance.
  • Lead a diverse team by demonstrating excellent customer service standards and skills
  • Empower the Gallery Hosts to be effective in handling guest resolutions and the guest recovery process
  • Updating Guest Service Scores daily for Gallery Hosts to be informed of progress towards team goals

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
  • Service oriented leadership style with professional presentation skills
  • Previous Front Desk Experience Required
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

Current Job Opportunity: Housekeeping Manager

The Hyatt Place Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is currently seeking Housekeeping Manager to join a team built around a service culture that allows each guest to have the best experience possible while staying with us. Our goal is to care for people so that they can be their best. The Housekeeping Manager directly oversees the day to day operations of the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Houseman operations to ensure maximum product quality standards are met, as well as providing optimum service to all of our hotel guests.

Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the daily staffing requirements
  • Mentor, coach, and provide regular feedback to employees while managing conflict, improving employee performance, and promoting teamwork
  • Educate and train all employees in a continuing fashion to adhere to company policies and encouraging the highest levels of guest satisfaction
  • Plan and execute departmental meetings on a regular basis
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and assist the Housekeeping staff during high-volume periods
  • Perform daily inspections of guest suites and public areas
  • Routinely perform all housekeeping duties when necessary
  • Respond to guest complaints and requests while achieving 100% guest satisfaction
  • Maintain and order supplies and equipment
  • Manage departmental expenses for labor and supplies within the requirements of the budget
